TEMPORARY EXHIBITION: INSPIRE WRITING | FILMMAKING

Countless screenplays are based on historical events. In the year 2024, Montblanc celebrates one that is particularly meaningful to us: 100 years ago, the first Meisterstück was crafted. An icon that has inspired people all over the world to write – including Wes Anderson. The world-renowned director has written and produced a short film in his very own iconic style, and it was inspired by... well, Montblanc. And by the Mont Blanc mountain. Parts of the original film set can be seen in the temporary exhibition, alongside other objects from the world of film, kindly provided by the Deutsche Kinemathek in Berlin and the Film- und Fernsehmuseum Hamburg e.V.image
